Hosted Login v2

Two-factor Authentication (2FA) is a feature available starting in Hosted Login v2.

In order to enable 2FA for your application, you may need to upgrade to v2 first. This is most likely the case if your Hosted Login instance was provisioned before October 1, 2020. To upgrade, follow the steps in the Hosted Login v2 Upgrade Guide.

Remove v1 verification email

When you upgrade to v2 and enable 2FA, Hosted Login will start sending a new verification email. However, the upgrade to v2 does not remove the v1 verification email - which means the user may receive both v1 and v2 emails upon registration.
