Create accounts

You’ll need three accounts in order for the Data Sync to work:

  • An Akamai Identity Cloud account - securely stores access information for the Identity Cloud application from which to sync user data. This account is used to pull data from Identity Cloud.
  • An Akamai Identity Cloud REST account - securely stores access information for the Identity Cloud application from which to sync user data. This account is used to add and update required metadata in Identity Cloud user records.
  • A Salesforce Marketing Cloud REST account - securely stores access information for the Marketing Cloud instance to sync user data to.

Let’s set these up.

    Find It
  7. Add the Client ID and Client Secret for your dedicated direct_access client in Console
  8. Click Apply Akamai account settings in SnapLogic

  5. Click Apply Akamai REST account settings in SnapLogic
