Identity Cloud details
Please enter the following information from the Identity Cloud Console. We’ll use this information in the next steps.

If you’re not sure what your region is, you can confirm it in the Identity Cloud Console:
- Click your application in the left column to expand menu
- Click MANAGE APPLICATION
- Find the
oidc_urlsetting in the Custom Settings section under Global Settings
- Your region is a two-letter code and is located within the
oidc_url.- Example: https://v1.api.
us.janrain.com/my-customer-id/login
- Example: https://v1.api.
What if I don’t have an oidc_url setting? You may not have this setting if your original implementation of Identity Cloud predates Hosted Login. If you do not know your region and do not know how to find it, please reach out to your Akamai Identity Cloud representative and we’ll be happy to help.
Example: us
Your instance of Hosted Login resides in a particular region depending on your location. Examples: us (United States), eu (Europe), jp (Japan)
Similar to your region (above), your Customer ID can be found within the oidc_url.

my-customer-id/login
It can also be found in the customer_id setting in the Identity Cloud Console:
- Click your application in the left column to expand menu
- Click MANAGE APPLICATION
- Find the
customer_idsetting in the Custom Settings section under Global Settings
What if I don’t have a customer_id setting? You may not have this setting if your original implementation of Identity Cloud predates Hosted Login. If you do not know your customer ID and do not know how to find it, please reach out to your Akamai Identity Cloud representative and we’ll be happy to help.

The unique identifier for your Hosted Login instance.
You can find the Social Login App ID in the Identity Cloud Console:
- Click your application in the left column to expand menu
- Click MANAGE PROPERTIES
- Find the login client in the list for the property you want to add a custom IDP to
- Click the Actions menu ( ) and select Edit
- Find the
rpx_app_idsetting in the Social Login section under Settings
What if I don’t have an rpx_app_id setting? You may not have this setting if a social login application has not been provisioned for you, or it hasn’t been properly configured. Please reach out to your Akamai Identity Cloud representative and we’ll be happy to help.

The unique identifier for your Social Login application.
You can figure out the Social Login App URL from settings in the Identity Cloud Console:
- Click your application in the left column to expand menu
- Click MANAGE PROPERTIES
- Find the login client in the list for the property you want to add a custom IDP to
- Click the Actions menu ( ) and select Edit
- Your Social Login App URL depends on whether you have a custom URL or custom “realm” for your social login app.

The identifying URL for your Social Login application. This will vary depending on whether or not you have a custom URL (or custom “realm”) for your social login app.
